Our Seasons

We operate year-round, with subscriptions available for the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. A single share contains on average a week's worth of the recommended daily serving of fruit for two adults. Fruit is selected with families in mind, with the size of most of fruit perfect for a lunch box or small hands.

In the Spring/Summer season the boxes are primarily filled with Frog Hollow Farm's legendary stone fruit with dozens of varieties of cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, pluots, and nectarines. In the Fall/Winter season, the boxes are supplemented with fruit from other small California organic farms which share Happy Child CSA's values.

Members who subscribe from one season to the next are eligible for a special discount. Four week trials for new members are available and encouraged.
